FTaser) when he was addressing a Brooklyn audience last night. The issue of the writs on November 6 will mean that the supplementary rolls will be elosed at 6 p.m. on that day. The writs, endorsed with the name of the sueeessful eandidate, have to be returned by the returning offieers Avith in 40 days of their issue. Notice'will also be given on November 6 of the polling plaees. These have to be gazetted at least eight days be fore the closing of nominations. The date w'hen nominations are to close will, therefore, be not xess tlian eight days after November 6.
