■ & Received Wednesday, 8.20 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 30. C&binet bas decided to standardise all Britisb weapons and ammunition as far as possibie to United States sizes and pattern, says the Daily Express. This will enahle Britain, in any future emergeney, to huy freely on the American market. The contemplated changes include the conversion of the .303 rifle to the United States .300 calihre. Cartridges will he grooved instead of rimmed. Mortars, field artillery, fighter aircraft and some naval guns will have to he replaced. Britain and America have also agreed on an automatic exchange of information on all weapon developments.
