AUSTRALIAN ELEVEN TO PLAY ENGLAND
ADELAIDE, Oct. 30. Bradman has been seleeted in tlie Australian XI to play Englarid at Melbourne from November S to 12. This is interpreted to niean that he intends to be available for selection in the lirst Test in Brisbane beginning on November 29. The Australian XI will be as follows: I). G. Bradman (South Australia), J. Ellis, U. Y. AlcUool (Queenslahd), F. Freer, Ar. Harvey, A. L. Hassett. K. R. AUiller (Yictoria), A. Alorris. J. Pettif'ord, R. Saggers (Xew Soutli Wales), U. I'uckett fWesl Australia); twelfth maii, G. Tribe (Yictoria). Alost of the p layers will be under trial as Test prospeets, and it is notieeable that a nuniber of certainties has been oinitted.
