BUDGET MAY HAVE SALES TAX CUT
CANBERRA, Oct. 29. A eut in saies tax is expected in the Budget but prospects of a cut in income tax are not bright. The main relief in the draft Budget now being prepared for submission to Cabinet, is in indirect taxation, aceording to correspondent s. A reduetion of saies tax, particularly in clothing, is contemplated. The new Cabinet mav be elected on Thursdav and a formal rueeting is seheduled for Friday,
