After three weeks' work the Telecommunications Conference at Moscow was able to settle only about lialf the world 's radio frequencies, said the Kussian Minister of Oonnuunications, Mr. Alexia Fortushenko, in an interview with the. English language newspaper. Moscow News. The conference reached the greatest measure of agreement on frequencies for the European radio stations. Mr. Fortushenko revenled disagreement about the powers to be represented at next year's conference. He said Britftin opposed Russia, America, France and China in thei-r refusal t-i invite Spain. Britain had also qitestioned whether United Nations was the proper convening agency. Mr. Fortushenko said additional consultations between friendly countries were necessary before the conference met again. He hoped a friendly excliange of opinionS wonld result in^ the satisfactory allocation of frequencies.
