WINE-GROWERS' STRIKE OFF
FRENCH PREMIER'S APPEAL SUCCEEDS Received Tuesday, 10.45 a.m. PARIS, Oct. 28. After the French Prime Minister, M. Bidault, had broadeast appealing to the patriotism of food producers and wine-growers, and urging country-wide confidence in the Government, the wine-growers decided to sell their wine at the price fixed by the Supply Minister, M. Farge, and have- called off the strike for November 10.
