CANBEBEA, Oct.' 25, A Commonwealth scientiiic mission is investigating Japanese methods of pearl fishing in Australian waters. Tlie mission has been sent to Japan to examine how Japan used the waters to the north of Australia in pre-war years. The commonwealth is seeking to reestablish the pearling industry which has been badly aii'ected by the Svar. The wlialing industry is also under examination and the new Federal Cabinet is expected to make early decisions' on both pearling and whaling.
