Fire at Tauranga
The Internal Marketing Division's factory situated in Tauranga was completely gutted by fire in the early hours of Friday morning, the building, equipment and a large quantity of lemons being a total ioss. The damage was estimated at several thousands of pounds. Valuable machinery was completely ruined, including a processing plant, and over 3000 cases of fruit were destroyed. The machinery, building and the fruit were ail insured. 1
