Mesdames Chapman and Storey were elected delegates to the halfyearly meeting to be held at Kelburn Grove on October 29. The competition for the month was a child's frock for the seniors and was won as follows: Mrs. Anson 1, Miss Koberstein 2, Mrs. Brown 3. A knitted doll's set was chosen for the juniors and resulted as follows: Joyce McLaughlin 1, Audrey Storey 2, Joan McLaughlin 3. The brooch for the best bloom was won by Miss Koberstein, the shawl by Mrs. Hood and the junior brooch by Joyce. McLaughlin. Two interesting competitions arranged by Mrs. Chapman were won by Mesdames Lancaster and Netten.
