LOCAL AND GENERAL

PcrsotiRl Mrs. H., Atkinson and Mr. T. Atkinson, of Rotorua, are the guests, of Mrs. Crowther, Clapham Street, for a few days. Cricketers Busy , Several members of the local cricket club have been hard at work each evening at the dornain, preparing the ground for the forthcoming season. Their efforts have not been in vain, however, as the field is now looking a little more like a cricket ground. A good grass wicket has been prepared and a start made on the outfield. Everything should be in readiness for the club's first fixture.
