WELLINGTON, Oct. 22. Situation: An anticyclone is centred in the North Tasman Sea and a trough oLlow pressnre is advancing on to the South Island from the west. Foiecast to 5jp.m. on Wednesday: Moderate to fresh westerly winds. A few isolafed showers, chiefly about the ranges, but weather masnly fair, with eloud inereasing tomorrow. Temperatures cool. Further outiook: Cloudy, with isolated showers.
