BOWLING CENTRE MEETS

At a recent meeting of the Wellington Bowling Centre it was 'decided that a letter be sent to the Paraparaumu Beach Club, pointing out that under the rules of - the centre the delegate from that club had forfeited his seat on the centre through non-attendance at meetings. The Otaki Railway, Raumati South, Eastbourne and Upper Hutt Clubs forwarded invitations for the president and members of the centre to make official visits to their clubs, and the following visits were arranged: Otaki Railway November 17, Upper Hutt December 1, Eastbourne December 15 and Raumati South January 19.' Several delegates stressed the great difficulty that was being experienced in procuring cream or white bowling trousers, and the president stated that every effort should be made to obtain proper costume. If still unprocurable a special application should be made to the centre which would receive consideration. It was reported that proper bowling kitties were unprocurable, and that the supply of same was indefinite.
