Miss Ogilvie was interned ih the Stanley Say camp at Hongkpng, and experienced the frequent air raids of tha;t area. Miss Ogilvie described manv aspects of the Christian work the mission was engaged. in, making special reference to the education of women and girls, to training in the scriptures and to training as nurses and midwives. Through the devoted service of an Austrian refugee ddctor ahd the Chinese nursing staff, the mission hospital at Kong Chuen had kept its doors open right through the fighting and the Japanese occupation.
