OTAKI GOLF NOTES
^ The Otaki Golf Club's recent capLain v. secretary match and annual dinner went off in its" usual good style. Fine weather was experienced for the matches played on the Saturday afternooji, the sccretary's side winning most of the matches, though" all were keenly contested, with narrow margins in the individual matches. The annual dinner was held in the Telegraph Hotel, about 40 members attending. . A mixed foursome will be played next Saturday for the trophies donated by Mr. I. Bertram. This will be the last competition bf the season, and the ladies a're asked to attend in as great numbexs as possible. . % A tournament is to be held over the Labour weekend . on the* Otaki links, commencing on the Saturday afternoon and finishing *0n the Monday afternoon with a .Yeams match. !
