AUSTRALIAN JOCKEY'S DEATH
Reeeived Wednesday, 10.35 p.m. Sl'DNEY, Oct. 16. "The race ,was very cleanly ruu aud there was no interfereuce wliatever, " said an Australiaa Joekey Club' stipendiary steward at the inq.uest todav iuto the death of J. E. Duncan, joekey, at Eandvvick. A verdict of accidental death was recorded, the coroner adding a rider that there was no evidence of negligence on the part of any of the other jockeys taking part in the race. The evidence was that Duncan 's mount, which was pulling liard, hit the heels of the liorse in front, fell and was then hit by another horse.
