The D^ffcnce Mtmster, Hon. F Jones, has annouhced that stef) are being taken to reconstitute tht Army of which the regular force.1 are the nucleus, and to fill, some 01 the vacancies in the regular forct caused by casualties and retirements. The primary need is for instructors, especiaily artillery signals, infantry, E.M.E. and A.S.C To meet this need it is intended tf obtain enlistments of 150 men Applications are nolv being cailec* with prefereftce to returned servicemen and present Serving inembers of the army, including the JForce. It is ihtendgd in Ihe near future to maM6 ^bod the deficie'nfcies in the officer ranks by calling for appIicatiohS from fonner N.Z.E.F. officers.
