FEATHERWEIGHT WOOLLENS
\ Reqeived Monday, 8,45 p.m. MELBOUS.NE, Oct. 14. Experiments with featherweight . woollens lighter than an ounoe * per yard and constructed on^ a seaweed hase, are being made in Melbourne mills in preparation for manuf acture next year. The new f abrics are like sheer georgette but are lighter and of finer texture. Limited shipments of similar materials have arrived from England recently hut it is considered that the Australian samples are of superior 'quality.
