Received Tuesday, i p.m. KURE, Oct. 12. . Staff Sergeant C. P. Sherwood, of the oth New Zealand Engineer Company who is at present in Tokio with the New Zealand Guard Battalion, is one of the prize winners in a photographie eompetitiQn organised by the Englisli edition of the Mainichi Press, one of .Tapan's largest newspapera. First prize was awarded to the young English photographer, Sergeant B. Woolacott. There were 600 entries and nine of the 24 prizes were won by B.C.O.F. persontiel.
