BETTER RATIONS FOR HEAVY WORKERS
Received Sunday, 7 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 12. The Ministry of Food announces a 75 per Qent, increase in tlie meat ration for unfi§rground eoalminers and can teens for l;uavy industrial workers from November 3. The miners will get 28d worth weeldy instead of 16d worth. The canteens' allowance will be increased from 2 2-7d worth to 4d worth per^main meal served.
