(From "Chronicle" Correspondent) The W.D.F.F. _ held its monthly meeting- in th.e Anglican Hall, presided over by Mrs. Hercock (vicepresident), Mrs. Harris (president) having met with an injury to her legs through a fall. An interesting box lecture was read on the arrangement of window draperies i and curtains. The winner of the ! best jam jar of flowers arranged ! with their own foliage, was Mrs.c Glen-Campbell, with Mrs. Fitchett second. Mrs. Drewitt won the best laundered shirt competition. Afternoon tea was served and the meeting concluded with the singing of ! the Nationai Anthem. Notice has been received by the residents to have mail boxes at the gates in readiness for a mail delivery, shortly to be inaugurated.
