STRIKE TO GO AHEAD
Received Sunday, 11.10 p.m. SYDNEY, Oct. 13. Sydney and Neweastle will be witbout trams and buses tomorrow. Mass meetings of tramwaymen and busmen today decided overwhelminglly not to work froip midnight toniglit till midnight toniorrow night. A move by tfie busmen to avoid a stoppage receiveci only 3Q supporters. Emcrgency transport arrangpments have been made in severai suhurbs but many persons will be unable to reach their places of employment because of lack of transport. The car parking regulations in the city streets will not he enforced tomorrow. In Melbourne where the transport situation also threatens to hoil over, the -■trafiiwaynien and busmen decided to take^np yfurther action until the ofhcials 'of their union meet Tramway BOard representatives on Thursday.
