From inquiries made it is stated that it is the remains of some fish washed up some years ago. Junior Nationai Party A large number of members of the Junior Nationai Party "from Wellington visited Otaki yesterday and indulged in a very pleasant outing. They were entertained by members and friends of the Nationai Party of Otaki. Otaki Races Popular The sum of over £150,000 put through the totalisator at the Otaki race meeting constitutes a record. The attendances on both days were very large, plainly demonstrating the popularity of the club's meetings. Special arrangements will be made to cater for patrons at the next meeting, which will be held in December.
