POPULAR COUPLE UNITED

PRETTY AND STYLISH WEDDING Arum lilies and stock, interspersed with greenery, made a pretty setting at All Saints' Church, Otaki, when Canon H. E. K. Fry officiated at the marriage of Joyce Tlielma Leov, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Nicholson, to Frank Henley, second son of Mrs. Tayior, of Napier, and the late Mr. W. Tayior, of Otaki. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore , an exquisite trained frock of white nylon, with full • bishop sleeves, heart-shaped neckline, embroidered with crystal beads, and with white velvet flowers appliqued on the train. Her hand-embroidered net veil, bordered with satin leaves, fell from a halo of white velvet flowers. She carried a shower bouquet of arum lilies, stocks, freezias and asparagus fern. In attendance were four bridesmaids, the bride 's sister, Miss Valerie Nicholson (chief) and Miss Joan Wright (Hunterville), wearing frocks of pale blue organdie over satin with darker blue velvet flowers, appliqued on the skirts, while Misses Josephine Nicholson (sister of the bride) and Betty Tayior (the bridegroom's sister) wore duDlicate frocks in pink

organdie. All maids wore in their hair pink and blue organdie flowers, from which fell matching veils. They carried bouquets of pink tulips, stock, blue iris and maidenhair fern. The best man was Mr. Reg Tayior, the bridegroom's brother and the groomsman was his cousin, Mr. Ian Tayior. The duties of ushers were carried out by the bride's twin brothers, Rex and Royce Nicholson. For travelling the bride chose a hyacinth blue suit with scarlet accessories and a honey-gold coat.
