WELLINGTON, Oct. 10. "There has been no abnornial boom after the receut war and there will be no crash, " said the leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. A. McLagan, this afternoon when tlie Local Government Bill was being discussed. "New Zealand 's economic feet have been liept very linnly on the ground by the Government and sO far as the general pricc structure is concerned, New Zealand is better tlian any otlier couiitry in a position to face" the postwar period witli complete confidence.
