CYCLE ROAD RACE DELAYED

Due to the Wellington Racing Club's meeting at Awapuni being held on the samo day, the time l'or tlie Palmerston North -Wellington road cycling race for which e.ntries are expected from all paits of the Dominion, has been pul back from 9.30 a.m. to noon. It is therebv hoped that the route for the raee will be clear of race traffic.. Due to the Hayward's liill route to Welling ton being' under repair, the Porirua-.Johnsonville-Ngahauranga Gorge route has been substituted.
