LEVIN BOWLING CLUB

SEASON OPENS TOMORROW « The official opening of the Leyin Bowling Club's 1946 season takes place at 1.30 p.m. tomorrow. The green is in excellent order and the surroundings present an attractiVe appearance. The opening ceremony will be performed by the Mayor (Mr. H. B. Burdekin) , and a large gathering of members and bowlers from other clubs is expected. An invitation is also extended to members' wives and friends. The club will be represented at outside opening ceremonies by the following: — To Central Club: Messrs. H. B. Burdekin, C. E. Larsen, W. Bull and W. C. Childs (s). To Foxton: Messrs. H. Boulton, T. Moss, H. Harvey and A. O. Powell (s) ; cars leave the green at 1.15 p.m. sharp. To Northern: Messrs. L. S. Carmichael, M. O'Cohnor, H. J. Hughes and H. F. McClune (s) ; cars leave the green at 12.45 p.m. sharp. To Takaro: Messrs. J. Todd, F. P. Wilson, F. H. Burnham, R. H. Henderson (s) ; cars leave the green at 12.45 p.m. sharp.
