RHODES SCHOLARSHIPS

AUCKLAND, Uct. 8. Two students who have been prominent in both studies and sports,, have been selected as tffe Auckland nominees for Rliodes scholarships this year. They are Mr. John Carlyle Burns, M.Sc., and Mr. Graham Lambert Holland. The final selection from the candidates from all the eonstituent colleges of the University of New Zealand will be made later in Wellington. Both Auckland nominees have specialised in mathematics and are former pupils of the Mount Albert Grammar School.
