CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS The season's final L.G.U. medal round for members of the ladies' section of the Levin Golf Club, has been eancelled owing to the condition of the links. In the junior championship semi-final Mrs. Black defeated Mrs. Alexander and Mrs. Richards defeated Mrs. Porter. The final game between Mrs. Black and Mrs. Richards should be an even matcli, the result of which will be watched with interest by the other members of the club. In . the senior division Mrs. Hastedt plays Miss Hosie. Played over 36 holes, this also should be a good match, as both finalists have been playing steady golf during the season and have reduced their handicaps recently in tournament play. In the Aratangata Cup finals Mrs. Hastedt plays Mrs. Richards. In view of the fact that the closing date for this season has been fixed for October 19, it is hoped that all' competitibns will be finalised as soon as possible. In the ' C grade competition played on Saturday Miss Coleman gained three points with her card of 55 nett and Mrs. Coutie two points with 59 nett. As ,the match in the C grade points competition set down for next Saturday is the final one for this season, it is hoped that there will be a good muster cf players.
