PARAPARAUMU NOTES

Mrs. Rickells presided over a good attendance at the monthly 'Imeeting of St. Paul's Church Ladies' Guild. This was followed by a bring-and-buy sale. During the afternoon Mrs. T. Natusch and Mrs. P. Lee kindly contributed musical items, and later afternoon tea was served. The sale realised £10 13s 8d, and this amount was handed in to the general church fund. The guild's thanks are extended to all friends for their practical interest in this effort. It is hoped that there will be good attendances at the usual monthly guild meetings held in the Sunday School on the fourth Friday of each month. so as to ensure a huge success for the Christmas fair arranged for Thursday, November 21.
