RITA AND ORSON WELLES RE-UNITED
A last-minute surprise was staged at Hollywood a few days ago when Rita Hayworth, who was bound for the California courts to obtain her divorce, made a reconciliation with her husband, Orson Welles. The coming together of the couple shocked Hollywood, because only a few days before Rita had expressed her determination to go on with divorce proceedings. "We are together again" announced the pair, "and I am happy with my husband and little daughter," sheepishly added Rita. To celebrate the reconciliation they have decided to make a picture together for Columbia.
