WELLINGTON, This Bay. Fields up to metropolitan size and standard, especially so in .the main flat events, are carded for the opening day tomorrow of the Otaki Maori Racing Club's spring meeting, to be held on the club's course at Otaki. The .meeting will conclude on October 12. With such good fields patrons are likely to experience a few upsets during the afternoon. With the track in good order keen, interesting racing should be the qrder of the day. The Hawke's Bay J.C. will conclude its meeting at Hastings tomorrow when 14 will contest the Guineas, while at Wingatui the stay item will be the Dunedin Guineas for the final day of the Dunedin J.C. fixture. Betting at all meetings will be win and place.
