The scouts do excellent work and will have the support of many outsiders who will make exhibits. Schedules are available. There will be prizes tfor writing, art, woodwork, handcraft, needlework, cookery, decorative work, etc. Rainfall in September The rainfall m Otaki for last month was 3.15 inches. The highest fall was 60 points on September 15, and there were fourteen days on which rain fell. There were two frosts and two electrical storms, while snow fell on the ranges on three occasions. It was an avera'ge month. For September last year 3.63 inches were registered for the thirteen days on which rain fell. The rainfall for this month up to 9 a.m. on Thursday was 1.30 inches.
