PUBLIC NOTICES LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL PropfisaJ to raise a Speeial bo&n under "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926." * pURSUANT to the provisipna of Section 10 of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926," notice is hereby given that the Levin Borough Couri-r cil proposes to seek the consent of ratepayers to the raising of a Speeial Loan of Two Thousand Pounds (£2000) for the purpose of extending the reticulation of- the Borough gas system. In connection with the proposed loan, it is proposed to borrow the said sum of £2000 for a term of thirty-five. (35; yearSj at a rate of interest not exceeding three pounds ten shillings (£3/10/-) per centum per annum. Provision for repayment will be made by establishing q. Sinking Fund, calculated on- the amount raised, of not less than one pound eleven shilings and six pence (£1/11/6) per centum per annum. As security for the proposed loan, it is proposed to levy a Speeial Annual recurring rate of thirty-six four-hundredths of a penny (36/40Qth.d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the Unimproved Value) of all rateable property in the Borough qf Levin. LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL Proposal to raise a Speeial Loan under "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926." pURSUANT to the provisions of Section 10 of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926," notice is hereby given that the Levin Borough Council proposes to seek the consent of ratepayers to the raising of a Speeial Loan of Six Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty Pounds (£6850) for the purpose of extending the reticulation of the Borough Water Supply and replacing certain existing mains by larger mains. In connection with the proposed loan, it is proposed to borrow the said sum of £6850 for a term of Thirty (30) years, at a rate of interest not exceeding three poupds ten shillings (£3/10/-) per centum per annum. Provision for repayment will be made by establishing a Sinking Fund, calculated on the amount raised, of not less than two pounds and four pence (£2/-/4d.) per centum per annum. As security for the proposed loan, it is proposed' to levy a Speeial Annual Recurring rate of one hundred and thirty-three four hundredths of a penny (133/400 ths. d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the Unimproved Value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Levin.
