keen values at levin There were good yardings in all fat stock sections at yesterday's weekly stock sale in Levin. Practically a total clearance was effected and priees were satisfactory to the vendors. Dairy stock was in very short supply. Veal, which was yarded in smaller num- . bers than usual, was very keenly competed for. There was a fair yarding of pigs and priees were fully firm on recent saies. The following priees were realised: — Sheep: Light fat ewes, 26s lOd; medium, 28s 10'd; prime heavy, 31s 4d to -33s 7d; light fat wethers, 37s 6d to 38s lOd; medium; 39s lOd to £2 ls 7d; prime heavy, £2 -2s 3d to £2 3s 10d; b.f. light 2-ths., 30s - 7d; medium, 36s 7d to 37s 7d; prime, 38s 4d to 38s lOd; medium fat .hoggets, 32s lOd to 33s Itid;' prime heavy, 34s lOd, ' 36s lOd to 38s 4d.
