ATTEMPT TO BURN PUMP HOUSE

INCIDENT AT FOXTON Some time during the past few days an attempt was made to burn I down the pump house on the river jbank adjoining the factory of the j N.Z. Woolpack and Textile Co., Ltd., i at Foxton. On Monday morning i employees found that the window } of the pump house had been . broken and the inside of one wall j badly charred by fire. The police are investigating. It 1 is believed that the attempt was ! the work of juveniles.
