CARGO PLANE TO CALL AT AUCKLAND

Received Tuesday, 11,30 a.m. NEW TORK, Sept. 30. An aeroplane earrying a cargo ranging from eggs to suitcases, all of whieh are coated with a protecLive plastic sheil, left today on an experimental fiight round the world via England, including calls at Sydney and' Auckland, where it will be open to inspection by industrialists. The plastic protects the goods against temperature chaiiges, rust and fungus, the method bein«' to dip each item in a warm liquid whieh hardens in a shell when cool similar to that used in wartime to protect weapons and machines. The test is being conducted by Seal Peel incorporated, the president of whieh is Miss Mildred Funk, who has been described as the American woman of the year in irtdustry.
