WEST COAST BEAT MARLBOROUGH
GREYMOUTH, Sept. 29. West Coast defeated Marlborough, the only points scored being a try by Silcock. The game was mainly a for-' ward one but there were some bright back movenients. Marlborough, were unlucky, in the last minute, to miss what appeared a try when Findlay lost possession just short of the line. E. G. Walker, tlie ex-Southland "centre, who made his first appearance in local rugby, was injured in the first spell.
