RUGBY TOMORROW

INTEREST1NG MAORI GAME Considerable interest has been taken during the Horowhenua Rugby season as to the result of a game which will be played tomorrow on Rugby Park at 1.30 p.m. The match, which is for the Davis Cup, a Maori challenge trophy, will be played between Wanderers, the Horowhenua junior champions, and Huia, the Manawatu junior division runners-up. Wanderers have an excellent record for the season with eleven wins, one drawn game and two iosses. The conditions for the cup are that both teams must be comprised solely of Maoris, and it is expected that both sides will give their team hakas.
