SCOUT CARD PARTY

AN ENJOYABLE EVENING The card evening in connection with the Otaki Boy Scouts was held at Mrs. McBeth's residence on Tuesday night, when the rooms were decorated with beautiful tulips and other choice spring flowers, while to counteract the rain and cold a bright fire was in evidence. All card tables, bridge and 500, were filled, and enjoyable and keenly-contested games resulted. Supper was provided and thoroughly enjoyed, and much credit is due to Mrs. McBeth for her .Aintiring efforts. Mr. Berry on behalf of the troop and those present, expressed thanks to Mrs. McBeth. There was a splendid attendance of players, the bridge trophy being won by Mrs. Gimblett. For the 500 Mr. J. C. Meyer proved the winner of the men's section, while Mrs. Jcnsen won the prizegiven for the ladies. Those to receive choice bouquets donated by Mr. Meyer were Mrs. H.
