LIGHT LUNCHEON PRQVIDED PUBLIC NOTICES LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL Proposal to raise a Special Loan under "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926." pURSUANT to the provisions of Section 10 of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926," notice is hereby given that the Levin Borough Council proposes to seek the consent of ratepayers to the raising of a Special Loan of nine hundred and fifty pounds (£950) for the purpose of purchasing: — » FIRSTLY, all that parcel of land known as Lot 24, D.P. 2142, pt. Sect. 9, Township of Levin, fronting Victoria Street, together with the buildings erected thereon £350 SECONDLY, all that parcel of land known as Lot 55, D.P. 13046, pt. Sect. 8, Levin Village Settlement, fronting Hannan Street, Levin £10Q (For the purpose of providing an extension of Sussex Street through to Hannan Street). THIRDLY, all that parcel of land known as Lot- 1, D.P. 11351, at the corner of Queen and Chamberlain Streets, Levin £500 (For the purpose of providing a reserve). Total £950 In connection with the proposed loan, it is proposed to borrow the said sum of £950 for a term of thirty-five (35) years, at a rate of interest not exceeding three pounds ten shillings (£3/10/-) per centum per annum. Provision for -repayment will be made by establishing a sinking fund, calculated on the amount raised, of not less than one pound eleven shillings and sixpence (£l/ll/6d) . per centum per annum. As a security for the proposed loan, it is proposed to levy a special annual recurring rate of seventeen four-hundredths of a . penny (17/400.ths.d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Levin.
