In the third round a left hook to the jaw had Clark down for a count of three, and ia the l'ourth an old injury below Clark 's left eyo oponed up cauaing it to blecd profuaely. Clark gained the admiratiou of the crowd by elever defeuce against the ropes in the fifth. Murpliy metod out puniahment in the aixth, und the bell prevented the counting of Clark out. •
