Licensed Victuallers' Ball What shouid prove the event of the season will be the licensed victuallers' ball, to be held at the Railway ' Theatre on Monday nignt. All roads will lead there, and a large crowd is expected. Elaborate preparations have been made to cater for all and the supper alone will be worth almost the price of admission. The music will be of the best, the floor will be highly polished and other arrangements admirably carried out. Large crowds are expected from Palmerston North and Wellington, while all parts of this district will be strongly represented.
