Miss P. Gunning has returned from her holiday at Hamilton. Miss Gunning "had the unfortunate experience of being a passenger on the rail-car involved in the fatal accident at Longburn yesterday morning. Miss Daila Ropoama, who was a member of the Horowhenua College basketball representative team which played at Rotorua recently, returned home after spending a holiday with relatives at Otarohanga. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Robinson who since their marriage have made their home with Mr. Robinson 's parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. K. Robinson, Newtown, have left to live on Mr. Gordan Vickers' farm at Poroutawhao, where Mr. Robinson is now employed.
