WELLINGTON, Sept. 17. When referring to the eoiuluet of tlie eleetions as it affeeted the J Force, Mr. M. H. Oram, in the Ilouse, said he lioped that mistakes made in the last eleetion would be avoided and that the propaganda of bolh parties would be distributed in good time before voting took plaee. Mr. Fraser, replying, said it was now just simply a matter of making the best arrangements to get the propaganda ot the respeetive parties transported anu distributed and in all probability fhe equivalent amount of space in the aireraft wonld be made available to botn parties. Mr. K. J. Ilolyoake (Pahiatua): This is really all delight i'ully vague the way the Prime Minister is putting this. Mr. Fraser said the only point was to get the propaganda to Japan. The only limitation was in the weight of niaterial and it was a question of wliat tlie planes eould earry. Mr. S. G. Holland said he was noT satisfied with the Prime Minister 's reply. There was a duty on the Government to see that the niaterial sent cu Japan was distributed and surelv some arrangenient eould be made between tlie parties. He suggested that head offieers of both parties meet and come to a satisfactory understanding. The Opposition had complete eonfidenee 111 Major Pollock, who was going to Japan to conduet the eleetion, but the Opposition did not want a repetition of the circumstances whieh arose in the iasi eleetion. Mr. Fraser said he had already given instruetions to the Eleetoral Department to interview the heads of the two political parties and worlc out a scheme satisfactory to both.
