Variegated Thistle
The Wanganui. County Council has 'decided to recommend to the Department of Agriculture that variegated thistle should be declared a noxious weed on the first schedule within the county. This decision, not a unanimous one, followed a request from the Wanganui Provincial executive of Federated Farmers.
