Personal Mr. Kirk, while on holiday, was taken suddenly ill and is now in the Napier Hospital. Mrs. Lyons, who is in the hospital at Levin, returns to hef home at the week-end. It is pleasing to report that Mr. L. G. Lowry, M.P., continues to make steady progress towards recovery. Mr. and Mrs. Matthews, who have been residents of Otaki for some time, leave next week to take up residence in Wellington. They will carry with them the best wishes of their many friends. Removal of Cycle Stand The cycle stand illegally removed from opposite Mr. Edhouse's business premises has been located, and will be put back in position.
