BIG EARTHQUAKE RECORDED
Reeeived Fridav, 11.15 p.m. TOKIO, Sept. 13. The Imperial Fniversity seismograpli reeorded an eartliquake shoek of great magnitude knocking the drunx from its truek. The unusual aeeident to the drum prevented the determination of the direction or time of the shoek. Aecording to a San Franciseo ntes sage, an earthquake was reeorded by the Oalifornia Institute of Technology, with its eentre about SOOO miles away, probably India, Bunna or the Netherland East Indies.
