MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
About two dozen members of the Shannon Miniature Rifle Club gathered in the Druids' Hall on Wednesday evening for the weekly shoot of the club. Good scores were returned by both senior and junior members. The following are tjic targets returned. Senior section (possible 100) : J. Lucinsky 97, H. Munford 89, A. Birss 88, N. Batt 86, L. Munford 85, G. Rix 83, V. Guerin 73 and k. Prier 66. Junior section (possible 70) : I. Sayer 66, Miss M. Easton 65, Miss V. Birss 64, J. Moore 63, Miss N. Thomson 62, K. Ropoama 62, O. Sayer 62, Miss J. Pigott 61, J. Birss 61, R. Easton 57, P. Ropoama 57, M. Kohika 56 and N. Clough 55. In an unofficiax'second shoot Mr. J. Lucinsky scored a possible 100, A. Birss 88, N. Batt 92 and V. Guerin 89. . .
