WOMEN'S SECTION R.S.A.
DELIGHTFUL BIRTHDAY . PARTY Festivity was the order when the Women's Section of the R.S.A. held a "get together" evening to celebrate their first birthday in Laurvig's Hall on Saturday evening. The function was well attended by the ladies of the -section and there was a large gathering of menfnlk of the R.S.A. present as guests. A delightful birthday cake, made and beautifully decorated by Mrs. C. Guerin, and bearing one candle, held pride of place on the well laid out tables of lovely things to eat. During the evening all joined in with the various competitions and games, which included cards and table billiards. The whitebait competition was won by Mx*s. Morris and the table billiards by Mr. Guerin. A sumptuous supper was served by the ladies and Mrs.J. A. 'Easton, patroness of the Women's Section, then lighted the candle on the cake, which was cut and handed round. A most enjoyable evening, which was a credit to the ladies, was brought to a close at a late hour.
