AUCKLAND, Sept. 10. The New Zealand junior boys' 220 yards swinuning record was broken by Michael Amos tonight. In a special attempt at tlie tepid balhs Amos lowered S. Jarvis's record of 2inin. 3(5 5-5sec. which has stood since July, 1933, by 2-osee. _ Amos last week broke ihe 440 yards junior .record by 14 4-5sec.
